Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern use of Frontelo, an AI-powered virtual receptionist service ("Service") operated by Frontelo ("Frontelo," "we," "us"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Frontelo answers inbound calls to a phone number you provide, using an AI voice agent to qualify callers, check your calendar availability, and book appointments on your behalf. It sends SMS notifications to you and to callers, and gives you a dashboard of call activity.
2. Your Account
You must provide accurate business information (name, working hours, service area, and any phone numbers you want routed directly to you) and keep it up to date. You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
3. Call Recording and Consent — Your Responsibility Too
Frontelo discloses, on every call, that the call may be recorded, before the AI says anything else. You are responsible for confirming that using an AI-recorded receptionist service is lawful for your business, in your jurisdiction, given how and where you operate — including any additional consent requirements that may apply to you (for example, some jurisdictions require both/all parties to consent to recording, which our disclosure is designed to satisfy, but you should confirm this fits your situation).
4. Fees and Billing
Frontelo is a paid subscription service. Current pricing and billing terms are provided to you at signup and may be updated with notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
5. Google Calendar and Other Connected Services
Frontelo requires you to connect a Google Calendar so the AI can check availability and book appointments. You authorize Frontelo to read and write calendar events for this purpose (see our Privacy Policy for exactly what this involves). You can disconnect this access at any time; doing so will prevent the AI from booking appointments until reconnected.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Frontelo:
- For any unlawful purpose, or to violate any applicable law or regulation
- To harass, defraud, or deceive callers
- In a way that attempts to interfere with or disrupt the Service, or to access it through unauthorized means
7. Intellectual Property
Frontelo and its underlying technology are owned by us. You retain ownership of your business content (e.g. knowledge base content you provide) and grant us a license to use it solely to operate the Service for you.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is." Frontelo uses third-party AI, telephony, and calendar providers, and while we work to keep the Service reliable, we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free — for example, an AI misunderstanding a caller or a missed booking. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Frontelo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be limited by law.
9. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or Section 6 (Acceptable Use).
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active account holders. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
